“THE SIGNIFICANCE OF AMIR TEMUR AND THE TIMURID CIVILIZATION IN WORLD HISTORY”

On April 9, on the occasion of the 690th anniversary of the birth of Amir Temur, a spiritual and educational event was organized among the staff of the “Directorate for operation of buildings and capital construction” state entity under the Ministry of Digital technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, within the framework of the “Month of Amir Temur,” under the theme “The Significance of Amir Temur and the Timurid Civilization in World History.”

During the event, the speakers elaborated on Amir Temur’s great traditions of statehood, his far-sighted policy aimed at establishing a strong and centralized state, as well as his wise principles of governance. They also particularly emphasized the large-scale reforms implemented under his leadership to ensure lasting peace and stability in the country, and to comprehensively develop the economic, cultural, and scientific spheres.

It was also noted that during this period, architecture and the arts flourished, resulting in the construction of unique monuments, while cultural ties between the East and the West were significantly strengthened. The Timurid civilization made an immense contribution to the progress of humanity and continues to be recognized as an integral part of world civilization through its rich scientific and cultural heritage.

For all nations, it remains an exemplary model, and for the Uzbek people, a lasting symbol of pride and national dignity.
